Trustees of the New Castle Common A non-profit organization incorporated in 1764. Its purpose: to preserve and protect the historic Common lands for the behoof of the inhabitants of the town.

Income is derived from property rentals and investments.

Hanging of the new bee houses Tom made for the Hermitage, some education on the importance of native bees, what's involved in raising honey bees, and the continuing joint efforts by our property manager and our beekeeper. The Trust has officially moved to 807 Frenchtown Road, the Historic Penn Farmhouse on Penn Farm No. 6.
Nowland Associates was our contractor for this monumental project and the plaque commemorates it. The coffee mugs were given to every Trustee and all those from Nowland involved in the project.
