Tecumseh DEFY

Tecumseh DEFY DEFY is a peer to peer youth mentoring program whose focus is drug prevention and education. The program is funded in part by a grant from Cardinal Health.

DEFY is a peer to peer mentoring program that focuses on teaching the facts and harmful effects of to***co, alcohol and other drug use; while providing life skill lessons that impacts decision-making abilities and encourages students to make healthy, long lasting choices. Non-drug topics addressed include: character, integrity, bullying, and peer pressure; along with other valuable life skill foun

dations that help develop a positive self concept. It gives support to students who are choosing a drug-free lifestyle and offers a fun, engaging environment where they can build relationships with others that share the same drug-free pledge.
