New Horizons - New Caney

Please read the amazing write up by Tracie Kamenoff about the Bobbi's Angels service day that took place at NCNH in September. This was such an awesome experience! For those that don't know, Bobbi's Angels is an initiative created by the Greater EMC Chamber to honor Bobbi Bodenhamer and give back to the non-profits of East Montgomery County. We were able to share our story, our program, and our patrons with the volunteers that came that day. It was a rewarding moment for all involved!

Did you know the Greater EMC Chamber has over 60 Non-Profit Members? The difference they make in our community is much greater than you might think. Bobbi's Angels recently gave their time to New Horizons - New Caney to help support the work they're doing.

As we look at our horticulture products and decided what to keep and what to retire, what are your thoughts on an unscented lotion?

A special THANK YOU to our Ball Committee of Susan Bulick, Cindy Cark, and Cheryl Lyons! **Pictures to come soon!**

Today we need to thank Montgomery Co. Precinct 4 Commissioner Matt Gray for his generous donation to our program. Commissioner Gray has been a long time supporter of NCNH and we appreciate all he does for New Horizons as well as other non-profits in Montgomery County! Thank you!

New Horizons has so many people to thank for their hard work and participation over the past week. Today I want to thank the Greater EMC Chamber and their Bobbi's Angel volunteers for the work they did Friday. Spreading rock, re-covering shelves, creating and planting new garden beds, so much work done in just a few hours! Pictures and video to come, but we couldn't go another day without recognizing the hard work these individuals gave to New Horizons last Friday. We are honored to have been selected to benefit from this initiative and so excited to share what we do with these outstanding community members!
