We help fund programs and resources, purchase books, equipment, and other supplies. The Friends of Tullis Library group is now on fb to help our community keep up with what is currently happening at our local library. The mission of the Friends of the R B Tullis Branch Library in New Caney is to provide financial assistance to the library funded through our used book store - Tullis Treasures. We p

rovide funds and support for the improvement of the library facilities and services. The Friends help provide for informational and educational programs, activities and other services to the multicultural and diverse backgrounds throughout the community. Tullis Library was presented with a $5,000 Community Development Grant check at the January 8, 2015 meeting. Funds will purchase books, e-books, books on CD and DVD movies. The grant was one of the 9 grants totaling $128, 957.51 approved in December. Membership and Volunteer
Looking for a new volunteer experience? Want to promote literacy in your community? The Friends of the R. Tullis Branch Library invite you to join our organization. We will have a meeting on August 6 at 3:30 at the library. Please come by and meet the group. We are usually at the store in the morning. Come by and see how we support the library.

After submitting a grant request to the East Montgomery Community Improvement District (EMCID), the Friends of R. B. Tullis Library won the grant, and then matched EMCID's funds.

On June 14, 2021 Janet King, President of Friends, presented a check for $10,000 to Raye Morello, Assistant Branch Manager of the RB Tullis Branch Library.
