Connection, collaboration, and a little celebration!

NCCF was proud to host the New Canaan Executive Directors Group — a network of 40 local nonprofit leaders who come together throughout the year to share ideas, learn, and grow.

While most gatherings focus on leadership and learning, this one was all about unwinding and celebrating a year of incredible community impact. Cheers to our nonprofit leaders who make New Canaan stronger every day! 💛

✨ Feature Alert! ✨
We’re honored to be featured in the September/October issue of , highlighting our Spring Luncheon 2025 — a morning that brought together 330+ community members for meaningful dialogue and action. 🌸

The event opened with an inspiring message from Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County and continued with a thought-provoking conversation between journalist Jane Stoddard Williams and NYT bestselling author Tara Westover (Educated). Together, we explored the urgent need to expand access to quality education — especially for children in under-resourced communities — and the power of sustained support & strategic partnerships to help every child thrive.

Thanks to the incredible energy of this gathering, NCCF nearly doubled its grant investments in early childhood this year, laying the groundwork for even greater impact ahead.

A huge thank you to for shining a spotlight on this important conversation. 💛

Grantee Spotlight: Building Community Resilience

Thanks to a $100,000 NCCF grant, the New Canaan YMCA can now serve as the Town’s official emergency shelter with a new Combined Heat & Power system. This cleaner, permanent backup power source ensures reliable services, like heating, cooling, showers, and charging, during outages, while also reducing the Y’s carbon footprint.
