- Claim/sign up for any food rescue opportunity in February
- Track your time from when you arrive at the food donor to when you complete the food drop off at the social service agency

Saturday’s General Meeting with officer Jeff Deak of the New Canaan Police shown here with members of our student leaders board and Juri Garone, Chief Community Relations Officer of Person To Person whose vision is thriving, hunger-free homes spoke with a packed room of students and parents sharing stories and real events with questions engaging students and parents in community responsibility. Soups and coats were collected for our non-profit partners with support from our student and parent member liaisons.

This is an extremely wonderful event that SLOBs volunteers are able to play a part in. It is a prom night held for people with special needs here in New Canaan!

There are 3 volunteer options for SLOBs:
1- Cheer Squad - Welcome the attendees + 30 minutes extra credit for bringing your own sign
2- Buddy - Buddies accompany a friend from 5:30-9:30 + each buddy must attend one Buddy Training Session before the event
3- Clean up Crew - 9-10:30
