Hungry Kidzz A nonprofit organization developed with the mission of fighting poverty and hunger in the tri-state area. Founded by Jeanette Wallace in October 2013.

"Hunger does not discriminate against age, race, gender or ethnicity. It affects working families who are forced to make difficult choices between food and basic necessities." Hungry Kidzz is a 501C3 nonprofit organization looking to make a huge impact locally. Way too many children in our neighboring towns rely on school lunch programs and go without food on the weekends. Bridgeport, CT is the 10

th poorest city in America and CT has the highest wealth disbursement in the United States! One in seven households can't afford the food they need and more than half of the households in Connecticut don't know where their next meal is coming from. Hungry Kidzz finds different vehicles to get bags of food for these kids on the weekends and have spent our focus on the summer months to fill the void of daily school free lunches. We are involved in government funded camp programs for eligible children. These are the most needy kids and we provide them with weekend bags of food with the help of local foodbank warehouses and unused trucks and our "kids council"

We Involved the children in a kids-helping-kids program. We get the children involved to help less fortunate kids in a more grassroots ways. Our Kids Council are a proud group of kids who are busy packing bags of food, selling things they have made, organizing events for other kids, and educating other kids about the need for those less fortunate. Hungry Kidzz 2016 Stocking Program was a huge success!!! Huge thank you to all involved! Here is where they were all distributed:

1. Center for Family Justice - 72 stockings
2. Kids in Crisis - 72 stockings
3. Trumbull Food Pantry - 40 stockings
4. West Help Shelter - 100 stockings
5. Open Door Shelter - 72 stockings
6. Bridgeport Rescue Mission - 24 stockings
7. Fresh Start - 80 stockings
8. Inspirica - 92 stockings
9. Domus Kids - 81 stockings

The stockings were absolutely beautiful and I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me bring some joy to these less fortunate kids!! Look out 2017!! I'll be back
