David L. Battistoni 6/26/41-6/23/20

Most of you will remember David, accompanied by his wife Janet Battistoni, as a fixture at so many New York and New England Scottish events, including NYC Tartan Day Parades, Burns Nights dinners, and Scottish Festivals, where they hosted the Scottish District Families Association tent. David and Janet have been great supporters of Round Hill for many, many years. We were always thrilled to see their smiling faces at our Games. With a kind word for everyone, they made all feel welcome and Scottish, and helped many find their clan or district heritage.

Dave will be deeply missed by his Round Hill Family, all the clan hosts that have attended ours and other Games, and all that have gotten to know David as the warm, kind, funny, gentle, happy and Scottish guy he was and will continue to be in our memories.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook NY, on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 3 to 7 pm.

David's booming war cry during Round Hill's clan roll call was, "Scotland Forever!" May he now rest in peace forever in the palm of His hand.
