¡Únete al Programa de Cáritas y nuestrxs colegas comunitarios de NJ Monuments to Migration and Labor, coLAB Arts, Rutgers University, Unity Square con Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, Esperanza Neighborhood Project y New Brunswick Tomorrow y New Brunswick City Government para la inauguración oficial de En Root: Un Monumento a la Migración y al Trabajo ESTE jueves en el parque Oaxaca (War Memorial Park). Es una nueva obra pública inspiradora del artista Chat Travieso, celebra el trabajo y el impacto cultural de los inmigrantes en toda la región y fue moldeada directamente por SUS voces y experiencias a lo largo de meses de conversaciones y colaboración comunitaria.

El evento contará con presentaciones en vivo de nuestro Grupo de Danza Folklorica La Sagrada Familia., música y actividades artísticas para toda la familia, con comida disponible para la venta de increíbles vendedores locales. ¡Esperamos verte allí y consultan el volante para más detalles!

Join the Caritas Program and our community partners from NJ Monuments to Migration and Labor, coLAB Arts, Rutgers University, Unity Square with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, Esperanza Neighborhood Project and New Brunswick Tomorrow, and New Brunswick City Government for the official unveiling of En Root: A Monument to Migration and Labor also this Thursday in Oaxaca Park (War Memorial Park) where French Street and Jersey Avenue meet. It’s an inspiring new public work by artist Chat Travieso, celebrates the labor and cultural impact of immigrants throughout the region, and was shaped directly by YOUR voices and experiences throughout months of conversations and community collaboration.

The event will feature live performances by our Grupo de Danza Folklorica La Sagrada Familia., music, and art activities for the whole family, with food available for purchase from amazing local vendors. We hope to see you there and check out the flyer for more details!
