Hello everyone. We at RES are excited to announce Rutgers Sharktank Spring 2022!

We are collaborating with DECA, the Rutgers Blockchain Hub, and Rutgers Venture Capital Club to host the Shark Tank Pitch Competition on Thursday, March 10th from 8-10 pm at the RBS Building.

This event will consist of a “pitch” and will be followed by an open networking event.

The pitch competition will be run similarly to the “Shark Tank” show. All teams will create an idea or a company and then pitch it to a panel of judges. From there, judges will ask questions and provide feedback. The top teams from this event will advance to the RISE Intercollegiate Entrepreneurship Conference (which is to take place in April), where your ideas will be presented to a panel of Venture Capitalists and RBS staff members. The top teams in RISE will get exclusively featured on all our social media, will be given an excellent opportunity to network with Venture Capitalists, and lastly will be rewarded with the annual RISE certificate. There are no restrictions on the ideas, so we encourage creativity!

The networking event will be held after your pitch competition, where free food will be provided. Winners from the pitch competition will be announced here!

Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society is proud to announce RISE 2021 will be taking place Wednesday, December 1st from 7pm-10pm at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center. During this event, we will give student innovators and entrepreneurs that performed well in SharkTank, the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of renowned Rutgers faculty and venture capitalists.
