RU Hungry, So R They-RAH (Rutgers Against Hunger)

RU Hungry, So R They-RAH (Rutgers Against Hunger) Now it is time to use this same spirit and passion to support another cause, and this cause is hunger.

The purpose of this page is to bring even more awareness to the very important problem of hunger and to inform people how they can get involved to support this cause. Everyone who has been to a sporting event at Rutgers knows that Rutgers students love to show their spirit; just look at how loud the RAC gets during a basketball game and how passionate and intense we are about cheering on

our Scarlet Knights during a football game at Highpoint Solutions Stadium. In our spirit chant during football games, we chant Rah Rah, and now it is time to shout RAH RAH for a different reason, and this is to support Rutgers Against Hunger (RAH). This page was created to support the cause of hunger and ways to help end this issue. The creators of this page support RAH, and they believe that through support of this organization, a lot of good can be done to help alleviate the issue of hunger. The key word is "donate," and this is what it will take to end hunger; donation of time, food, and money will go a long way to stopping hunger. The RAH is a great organization and a great cause to support, and every little donation matters in the fight to put an end to one of the major problems found in our world today.

How would you solve this issue as a college student?

The global food crisis that made headlines in 2008 had been simmering for a while. The rise in food prices, affecting the poorest the most, had a variety of causes, mostly man-made. It is common to attribute causes to things like overpopulation but that seems to miss the real causes.
