"Calcium: Select to Protect" is a social marketing program whose goal is to increase the amount of calcium that is consumed by New Jersey's limited resource African American and Hispanic children. To do this, "Calcium: Select to Protect" provides education about calcium to limited resource parents and caregivers of children. Nutrition education messages are delivered to parents and caregivers thro

ugh many channels. Culturally appropriate, low-literacy nutrition education materials that are aviailable in English and Spanish are distributed at community agencies and medical offices throughout the state. Resources and additional information are also conveyed via our website and through social media outlets such as this page.
