We would like to spotlight a Chef’s Night participant, Chef Jackie Mazza: Culinary Director at DHS Hospitality Group for bringing the Marketplace at the brand new HELIX building to life!

She is one of the people spearheading the creation and opening of the food hall and the relaunch of Clydz Restaurant a Chef’s Night fan favorite, and we could not be more excited for her!

Our team visited today to for the first phase of this project and had a delicious lunch at the brand new Marketplace.

Thankful Thursday ❤️

Wrapping up Hunger Action Month we are so thankful for our community, we’d like to say thank you to everyone who has recently donated snack bags to our soup kitchen.

Your effort does not go unnoticed and we are so grateful to anyone who has taken the time to pack, assemble, and donate all these snack bags to help our meal distribution.

How did we get the name Elijah’s Promise?

In 1989, Elijah’s Promise was founded by three local New Brunswick congregations - Christ Church, Emannuel Lutheran, and St. John’s Episcoptal Church.

Our founders believed that by working together we could create a stronger way for the community to help themselves and their neighbors.

AMAZING! La Bon Bake Shoppes raises another $6,500 for Elijah’s Promise!

Through their 15th Annual Kids Day where children are able to take part in a cake decorating contest hosted and provided by La Bon Bake Shoppes. A creative and wholesome way to get children involved in community impact!

We are so thankful to them for their extraordinary partnership and generous gift! If your child participated stay tuned for La Bon to announce their Kids Day winners!

Kicking off Hunger Action Month with Rutgers Athletics 🪓

Yesterday Rutgers Athletics packed a RECORD BREAKING 6,839 snack bags to donate to our soup kitchen at their annual Welcome Back BBQ.

We are so thankful for all the athletes and Scarlet Knights For Life, for their incredible support and partnership that truly helps to make our mission possible.

Thank you for doing a wonderful act towards Hunger Action Month, celebrating Rutgers Athletics much deserved NACDA Service Award from the Fiesta Bowl Foundation.

Remember, this is one of MANY ways you can give back this Hunger Action month throughout September 💛
