On 12th November, book your weekend for Rutgers Innovation and Startup Expedition. Rutgers's home-brewed version of the Startup Weekend, which will bring together creative and passionate students to help them bring their ideas to life.

- SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT -

Alfred E. Blake IV is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, professor, and one of my personal mentors.

While we’d like to remain comfortable in our pursuit of success, there is something about being innovative that involves a certain amount of risk. In that risk, conventional ways are destroyed and traditional methods are questioned. A necessary perspective that few are willing to embrace, Alfred created a platform for millennials that will allow them to take ownership of their responsibilities and impact their lives. Alfred takes pride in the engaging nature of his seminars and acclaim from attendees.

Alfred is the author of The Students Handbook To Breaking All The Rules, Huffington Post/Elite Daily Contributor and he has partnered with: Pharrell Williams K!dult Conference, Fast Company Magazine, Monster.com, Rutgers University, Hofstra University, Newark Public Schools, The Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools, Hartford Public Schools and has been featured in Motivated Magazine to name a few.

Even with the aforementioned accomplishments, the one he is most proud of is being the father of Skylar Jaelle Blake... a child that has somehow figured a way to wrap his 250lb frame around her pinky finger. Alfred is looking forward to teaching you how to build the blueprint that landed him a before he was even out of school.

Rahul pursued a science degree, but found that his interests lie in startups, mobile technology, app/web development, product development, UI/UX, sales/marketing, SEO, analytics, and better understanding global trends in technology.

He cares deeply about user experience and interface aesthetics, and loves working in teams to help brainstorm ways to build great consumer products that can provide exceptional experience and value to users.
