Looking for a fun way to greet the new year? The New Jersey State Park Service is hosting 31 first-day hikes and a lighthouse climb on January 1st (and New Year's Eve).

Each guided hike offers something for everyone. Bring your 4-legged friend or the children. There are also strenuous hikes for those who want to challenge themselves in the new year. Registration is required, so click on the link for more information and to register.

With the stormy weather this morning, please ensure your recycling is properly secured. Any material that is not properly secured, tied and bundled may not get collected.

Due to inclement weather conditions that have affected us last night and into today, the recycling company will do their best to pick up recycling material.

Remember, you can use the Colgate Paper Stock Company to drop off recycling at 12 Industrial Ave in New Brunswick from 7:30am-11:30am Saturday mornings, including this Saturday December 23.
