End of Watch K9 Duli.

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend K9 Duli of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.
Duli became a member of our family in 2018, when we had the pleasure of presenting him with his ballistic vest.

You will truly be missed.

We would like to welcome K9 Moose of the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office to the Friends of Solo family.

S/O Joseph Szotak requested a ballistic vest for his partner to help keep him safe.
K9 Moose is a 2 year old Bloodhound who is certified in tracking. He will be receiving a LOF Defence Systems Ltd. ballistic vest. These vests are puncture/stab resistant and are capable of stopping handgun rounds helping to keep him safe while on duty.

Lucky dogs K9 Jax and K9 Rebel!!
What a great day to be taking care of our K9 friends from the Brick Police Department.

K9 Jax received his K9 Storm Inc ballistic vest which was requested by his partner K9 Officer Jeff Melia. Jax is a 2 year old German Shepherd who is dual certified in patrol/explosive detection.

K9 Rebel received his North American Rescue field trauma kit. The kit was requested by his partner K9 Officer Ray LaPoint. Rebel is a 7 year old German Shepherd who is dual certified patrol/narcotics detection.

A big thank you to everyone for their continued support. Our K9 friends appreciate it.

Lucky dogs, K9 Xenia and K9 Cash!!

This week we had the pleasure of presenting K9 Xenia of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office and her partner S/O Erick Hyer with her ballistic vest and K9 Cash of the Wall Twp. Police Department and his partner Officer Tyler Martin with his
ballistic vest. LOF Defence Systems Ltd.

Both vests were sponsored by George’s Garage and Towing in Cranbury NJ.
We would like to thank George’s for their generous donation and continued support of our K9 friends.

K9 Xenia is a 3 year old Shepherd/ Malinois mix who is certified narcotics detection and tracking.
K9 Cash is a 2 year old German Shepherd and is certified in narcotics detection and tracking.

End of Watch K9 Bolt.

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend K9 Bolt of the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department.
Bolt became a member of our family in 2021, when we had the pleasure of presenting him with his very own ballistic.

Bolt was the best! He loved to lend a paw and help us at the fundraisers that we held. He was always willing to showcase his skills and loved to ham it up for the audience.

Our deepest condolences to Paschal, Melissa and their family and to the PPBPD.

You will truly be missed.

Lucky dogs, K9 Shadow and K9 Blu of the Savannah Police Department for receiving their ballistic armor and field trauma kit.
Sgt. Chris Ameduri requested a K9 Storm Inc ballistic vest for K9 Shadow who is a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd and is dual certified patrol/narcotics with his partner, Cpl. Scott Gashi.

Sgt. Ameduri also requested a North American Rescue field trauma kit for his partner, K9 Blu who is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois and is certified explosive detection.

We would like to welcome K9 Bane of the Tinton Falls Police Department to the Friends of Solo family.

Lt. Anthony Turso requested a ballistic vest for the newest member of the K9 unit.
K9 Bane is a 18 month old German Shepherd who just graduated from the academy in narcotics detection and patrol. He is partnered with K9 Officer Mike Pyzik and will be receiving a LOF Defence Systems Ltd. ballistic vest. These vests are puncture/stab resistant and are capable of stopping handgun rounds helping to keep him safe while on duty.

K9 Xenia from the Middlsex County Sheriff’s Office has been fitted for her vest and it has been ordered!!!
S/O Erick Hyer requested the vest for his partner to help keep her safe.
Xenia is a 3 year old Shepherd/Malinois mix who is certified in narcotics detection and recently graduated in tracking. She will be receiving the LOF Defence Systems Ltd. Street Fighter ballistic vest.
Xenia joined the Solo family last year when she received her trauma kit from us.
Xenia was donated to the Sheriff’s office by K-9 Protectors

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend K9 Mackey (Retired).
Our deepest condolences go out to Doug Montgomery and his family.
Mackey was an integral part of the West Windsor Police Department doing explosives detection and patrol work before retiring 2 years ago.
Mackey became part of the Solo family in 2018 and was always willing to help us with a K9 demonstration when asked.
Thank you for your service. RIP friend. You will be missed.
