During yesterday’s Middlesex County Board of Commissioners meeting, Charlie Kenny Middlesex County Commissioner presented a proclamation recognizing the collective efforts of Keep Middlesex Moving, and our many partner organizations in advancing mobility, accessibility, bicycle education, and community well-being throughout Middlesex County.

We are honored to share this recognition with New Brunswick Bike Exchange, Rich Albanese and Donna Albanese-DeMair of the Plainfield Dairy Queen, PRAB, Inc., the Strider Foundation via All Abilities Bike, and Superfood Fresh Supermarket.

Thank you to Commissioner Director Rios, Commissioner Kenny, and the entire Board of Commissioners for this recognition. We are grateful to all of our municipal, school, and community partners whose collaboration helps make this work possible every day. Together, we are creating a more connected, accessible, and bike-friendly Middlesex County.

Four upcoming matches will take place during the weekday and impact afternoon rush hour! This means drivers and transit riders should expect heavier-than-normal traffic before and after World Cup matches at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

📣 KMM is excited to announce we have added additional events to our 2026 bike rodeo series. We invite local vendors, community partners, and organizations to join us in making these events a success!

Our bike rodeos are family-friendly community events focused on bike safety education, active living, and fun for youth and families.

We are currently seeking vendors to: 
- Share community resources and services
- Engage with families and youth
- Provide interactive or educational materials
- Support wellness, safety, and active living initiatives

KMM is seeking volunteers to assist with:
- Event setup and breakdown
- Bike safety stations and activity support
- Guest check-in and wayfinding
- Engaging with families and youth
- General event support as needed

Vendor and volunteer participation is a great opportunity to connect directly with families in the community and help promote safe habits and healthy lifestyles.

Last week, KMM had the pleasure of attending the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Leaders of Distinction awards celebration. Brian Tobin, Arlene Holt, and Connor Wallace enjoyed a wonderful reception honoring fellow leaders committed to strengthening our communities and advancing meaningful connections across the region.
