Introducing the Micromobility Education & Resource Toolkit! KMM offers e-bike safety education to both parents and high school students. Together with the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, Safe Kids Southern NJ/Cooper University Health Care, and Hackensack Meridian Health, we've put together a toolkit for schools, community educators, and police departments that is accurate to the new NJ e-bike law. In the toolkit, you will find parent/student lesson guides, informational graphics, and other relevant resources and messaging. These resources can be used in classrooms, assemblies, driver education programs, community meetings, youth programs, safety events, police-community outreach, and more.

KMM also offers e-bike safety education for parents and high school students. Email [email protected] to learn more and schedule your e-bike safety education program.

So proud of the Youth Advisory Board at Dunellen High School!

Congratulations to our talented Dunellen High School students on having their traffic safety mural featured across NJ TRANSIT!

Their mural, “Safe Driving: For Dunellen, By Dunellen,” which was unveiled earlier this year, was created by DHS 10th graders in collaboration with the Nikhil Badlani Foundation to promote driver and pedestrian safety.

The artwork is now being featured at Newark Penn Station, New Brunswick, the Dunellen Train Station, Newark Light Rail, and on buses serving Middlesex County. The campaign includes static displays and digital kiosks and will run through September 20.

It's today, but KMM works every day of the year to make transportation resources more widely accessible to older adults across Middlesex County. KMM collaborates with senior centers to educate residents about options like Middlesex County NJ Government RIDE and NJ TRANSIT Access Link. Driving does not have to be the only way to get around!

To set up a presentation in your community, email KMM Program Coordinator Connor Wallace at [email protected].
