There are a few CHLTB projects that are still looking for donations! The items being collected include everything from non-perishable food to toiletries to snacks and wrapped desserts to brunch entrees. Please check out the shopping list to see more specifics about the items needed, and to confirm which date the donations are needed by. All donations can be dropped off at LVC to be distributed. ✨Mission Spotlight: Gift of Life House✨ The Gift of Life House supports patients and families who are in midst of the organ transplantation process. LVC will be providing and serving brunch at Gift of Life House on November 14th. If you would like to help, we are still looking for volunteers to help serve breakfast on the 14th, or you could prepare a brunch entree and donate it for the volunteers to serve. Thank you! 🥞🍳🥓🍩

✨Mission Spotlight: Life Abundant✨ LVC is partnering with Life Abundant Inc. to write letters of encouragement to prisoners and their families. If you would like to participate, please pick up a packet in the church office, which will contain everything you need to write your letters (instructions, sample letters, and the official letterhead for letters to be written on). The final letters are due back to LVC by November 2nd. This is a take-home project and will not have an official meeting time.

✨Mission Spotlight: Helping Hands✨ This year, LVC will be helping paint walls at the Family Promise facility on October 10th at 9am. Family Promise is an organization that helps Montgomery County families that are faced with poverty and homelessness work toward self-sufficiency. All youth and adults are welcome to come lend a hand. 🖌🏠

UPDATE: This event has been CANCELLED due to the weather. We apologize.

✨Mission Project Spotlight: Chalk the Walk!✨ Join the LVC children on October 11th as they spread joy to the residents of New Seasons Retirement Community through decorating their walkways. The event will begin at 3pm and participants are encouraged to draw colorful pictures and write encouraging messages on the sidewalks of the community. LVC will provide all supplies needed, so the only thing you need to bring is creativity and a smile! All ages are welcome! 🖍💙🌈

Brunch Bunch is meeting tomorrow, October 4th, after worship!! Youth will have the chance to meet LVC's new bridge pastor, Christen, while enjoying some yummy snacks. Then, the youth will be cleaning out the youth room and getting it prepared for the renovation happening this fall. Please encourage your youth to come and lend a hand, as the more youth we have, the faster and easier it will be!
