Want to help create a stronger New Britain Pride?

TONIGHT at 6pm is the second New Britain Pride brainstorming session in Suite 201, on the second floor of New Britain City Hall.

You can enter the building through the main doors; however, if they are locked, please use the rear entrance, accessing the garage and proceeding to the third floor, where a door provides access to the building's interior, and then take the elevator to the second floor.

In addition to tonight, we will also be meeting on July 6th and July 13th for anyone who can't make tonight OR wants to come to multiple. They will all be at 6pm.

The July 6th meeting will take place in Suite 504 on the fifth floor, while the July 13th meeting will be held in Suite 201 on the second floor. Come join us to continue to build and expand Pride in New Britain!

Today marks 11 years since marriage equality became the law of the land.

For so many families, couples, and communities, that decision meant dignity, recognition, and the simple but powerful right to say “I do” under the law.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also recognize that equality must be protected, defended, and expanded. Love is love — and every person deserves to live openly, safely, and with pride. 🏳️‍🌈

Tonight, the New Britain, Connecticut Common Council for the 8th year in a row unanimously adopts the Pride in the City resolution celebrating our community! Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈

The Trump administration has agreed to keep flying a rainbow Pride flag at the Stonewall National Monument, reversing course after removing the banner in February.
