Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private nonprofit serving children and families throughout Connecticut.

Our mission is to help build healing relationships that empower children and families to reach their full potential. Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private, nonprofit multi-service agency providing help to thousands of persons across Connecticut each year. Our goal is to extend hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, severe family problems and mental health issues. Through an array of group care, special education, foster care and community programs, children and parents are given the encouragement and skills they need to function more effectively at home, in school and in their community. Our main campus is located in New Britain, Connecticut. We also offer a wide range of community services from our office in Hartford.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating and embracing the diversity that strengthens our community! Our decorated staff doors helped bring this celebration to life.

Join us for our 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat!

We’re excited to welcome everyone to Klingberg Family Centers on Thursday, October 22, at our main campus in New Britain. This free, family-friendly event is open to all.

Our Therapeutic Foster Care team will also be on site so stop by to say hello and learn more about becoming a foster or adoptive family.

We recently had the opportunity to attend Community Day in Waterbury and the Ollie Williams Community Health & Wellness Fair in Hartford. It was wonderful connecting with community members, sharing information, and highlighting the programs and resources available through Klingberg Family Centers.
