One of the very hardest things we face is trying to explain why our groups are so successful and how they run, what gets talked about?

Well, “Life” gets talked about and the challenges that men may face.

Here is a list of some of the things that got talked about in a recent group.

Challenging relationships
Cats
Going back to school

I ask…where else ANYWHERE are 9 men sitting together discussing these types of issues…all in a 2 hour span? I feel fairly confident, that besides the face at foundation, this doesn’t happen anywhere else!

Men looking for professional therapy should search that out. Those looking for help with all sorts of life’s challenges…give a Face It group a try💜

Busy week for the Mark and Bill.

On Friday they spoke to the Shakopee boys baseball teams about not putting too much pressure on yourself and telling someone if you are struggling.

Saturday morning brought 50 men to the face It office for our monthly men’s breakfast. The morning was filled with eggs, cheesy hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and plenty of fellowship.

Saturday night found Team Face It at a yearly Kentucky Derby party that raised money for the DanO Fund, A nonprofit supporting many mental health initiatives. 

Between our support groups, meeting new men wanting to attend Face It, meeting involving the Beehive Initiative and Alive st the Links planning sessions…going to be another busy week…just the way they like it!
