I think it was the Fourth of July! ♪” Well, it wasn’t the Fourth of July; it was September 19th, but it was a great Saturday nonetheless! Vintage Oaks held their first-ever “Saturday in the Park” event, where all of the proceeds from the Dunk Tank were donated to the 100 Club of Comal County. Their board members braved the cold water dunk for the best of causes, supporting those who protect us! Thank you so much, Vintage Oaks, for your continued support of the 100 Club of Comal County!

The 100 Club of Comal County extends our deepest condolences on the passing of Comal County Judge Sherman Krause. Judge Krause was a devoted public servant whose steady leadership and commitment to this community left a lasting impact. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and the entire Comal County family during this time of profound loss. We keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Early this morning, Comal County Judge Sherman Krause passed away at his home.
Judge Krause had faithfully served the citizens of Comal County since taking office on January 1, 2011.
During his time as County Judge, he was a steady presence in both times of challenge and progress.
Our Comal County family is devastated by this loss.
Judge Krause was more than a leader. He was a colleague, a mentor, and a friend to many. We ask that you keep Judge Krause’s family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Vintage Oaks donated $8,950 to the 100 Club of Comal County from the proceeds of their National Night celebration on October 7th.

The New Braunfels Lions Club honored First Responders of the year at the August 21st luncheon at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
A check was presented to the 100 Club of Comal County. The 100 Club supports First Responders and their families should they be injured or killed in the line of duty. Join Comal County Constable Pct. 1 Charlie Motz and Constable Ali Flores Comal County Precinct 4 in raising funds for the 100 Club of Comal County at their event happening today.
Come out and support this local organization who supports families of first responders fallen in the line of duty.
The Constables are at the Spring Branch McDonald's (Hwy 281) and Deputies are at the Startzville location (FM2673).

We had a wonderful evening with our first responders and supporters. During the event, we awarded scholarships to three local high school seniors: Faith Reese, Aubrey Mallet, and Brent Penshorn. We also had the pleasure of hearing from an inspiring speaker, Mark Broyles. The evening concluded with the presentation of the Firefighter/Paramedic, Law Enforcement, and Service awards, honoring three first responders from Comal County for their outstanding excellence and professionalism. The three recipients were:

Corporal Eric Sotelo, Selma Police Department
Firefighter John Sippel, New Braunfels Fire Department
Deputy Preston Overstreet, Comal County Constable Precinct 1
