The New Braunfels Elks Lodge welcomed two new members last night at our regularly scheduled meeting. Membership growth is the lifeblood of any organization. We rely on our current members to invite and sponsor new initiates, therefore helping to ensure the we continue to grow our community network of likeminded individuals who share same values of patriotism, faith, charity and community service.

FLAG DAY - The New Braunfels Elks Lodge commemorated flag day yesterday with the help of Boy Scout Troop and Pack 828 from Garden Ridge. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) designated June 14 as Flag Day in 1907 and became the first national fraternal organization to require its observance. Every Elks lodge nationwide holds a formal Flag Day service featuring a historical tribute to the evolution of the American flag.

A reminder that nobody at the New Braunfels lodge is actively selling T-Shirts online and you should not click on any post asking you to get your orders in soon! These are SCAMS and Phishing attempts. If you see a post like that, simply block the user, report the user and let one of the officers know so we can make sure they are completely blocked, banned and deleted. It’s unfortunate that we have to look out for those kind of things, but each of you have to do your part and report it when you see it. Please Like and Share!

Congratulations New Braunfels Elks Lodge! This past Elk year for the lodge has been one for the record books. Membership gains, Elks National Foundation fundraising, Fidelity Club and many other accolades! Here are a couple of folks recognized at our last Lodge Meeting. Corey West was recognized by the ENF for his charitable giving. Past Exalted Ruler Nancy Simpson was recognized as our District Exalted Ruler of The Year by the Southwest District, and Danton also presented her with her Blue PER Jacket as she now joins the PER Association at the Lodge and is our PER President this year.

The New Braunfels Elks Lodge Golf Tournaments are back in full swing at the Landa Park Golf Course! They are held monthly and we are excited about the number of Elks who are joining us. Today was a great day out on the course and a good time was had by all. Afterwards, the players enjoyed a great meal at the Lodge along with some good fellowship and a few good stories about who hit the farthest drive and some amazing putting skills!
