Preserve Our Hill Country Environment Our current focus is the proposed 1500-acre Vulcan quarry between Bulverde and New Braunfels.

Nonprofit organization established in Comal County, Texas to preserve and protect the land, water, air, wildlife, and quality of life in the Texas Hill Country from the aggressive and insufficiently regulated expansion of the aggregate industry. Our initiatives and projects include educating communities on preservation of natural resources; developing legislation and common-sense regulations to protect the air, water, and other environmental assets of the Texas Hill Country; and conducting research into the hazards of limestone quarries, mines, concrete batch plants, and other aggregate operations (APOs). We are an all-volunteer group of neighbors joining together to protect our families and the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Where the Water Flows is getting close! Join us October 18 at Oak Valley Vineyard Restaurant for delicious food, wonderful w**e, music, and a silent auction worth a little friendly competition—all to help protect our Hill Country and better understand the groundwater we depend on.

A beautiful portrait becomes more precious with time. Steve Armstrong has a gift for creating those pieces—the ones you proudly display and cherish for generations.

We’ve experienced his work firsthand. Steve naturally makes everyone feel at ease, and the finished portraits are exquisite.

Steve and his wonderful wife, Carrie, have supported our organization for years. Carrie grew up on her family’s ranch near the Guadalupe River, making our efforts to protect the Hill Country especially meaningful.
