New Braunfels Science Education Foundation

New Braunfels Science Education Foundation The New Braunfels Science Education Foundation is a not-for-profit dedicated to sparking the interest of diverse K-12 students in the fields STEM

NB Science Foundation was started by two local moms, who both have a passion for science, a secret desire to be wizards, and the dedication to create something new for our community. One physician and one chemist saw the joy and curiosity of their own children when they observed the power of science. From simple experiments at home to science fests around the county, these two mom's wanted to cap

ture their own children's excitement and share it with more children. Thus the NB Science Foundation was born. The goal is to launch the first ever New Braunfels Science Fest where local children will be able to engage with science professionals in a hands of fun environment. With the backing of a wonderful community the NB Science Fest will launch on Oct 8, 2017.

Good news from NBU!

NBU has successfully achieved system-wide TCEQ minimum pressure requirements. The NBU public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes. It has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling before use as of February 21, 2021.

If you still do not have water pressure, please check the following:
- any signs of a leak inside or outside of your home.
- make sure that your customer shutoff has not been closed. The customer shutoff is typically located on the house side of your water meter box.
- If you still do not have water pressure, please call NBU’s control center number at 830.608.8800.

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented winter weather event.
