🚨NEW BRAUNFELS FFA NEEDS YOUR VOICE! 🚨

Our students deserve opportunities to grow, and that starts with having access to the facilities they need! 🐮🐷🐑🐐

NBISD is currently evaluating improvements to our agricultural facilities through the 2024 Bond, and we have an important opportunity to share what our students and families need.

One of our biggest needs is a livestock barn on the New Braunfels side of town!

For many families, the distance to existing facilities creates challenges with transportation, daily animal care, and participation in livestock projects. A local barn could open doors for more students to experience everything agricultural education and FFA have to offer.

Join us for our October NBFFA Meeting on Tuesday, October 6th at 6:30 PM in the NBHS Cafeteria!

We’ll be:
🎨 Painting pumpkins
🍪 snacking on cookies
🌾 Signing up for Hay Day
🎃 And having some Halloween fun!

🌟💙 AREA VII GREENHAND CAMP! 💛🌟

A few of our New Braunfels FFA Greenhands had the opportunity to represent our chapter at Area VII Greenhand Camp! These students were selected to attend for showing leadership potential and a desire to get more involved in FFA. Throughout the day, they connected with FFA members from across Area VII, participated in leadership activities, and learned more about all the opportunities waiting for them in the blue jacket. 💙

We are so proud of these students for stepping outside of their comfort zones, representing New Braunfels FFA, and beginning to discover where their FFA journey can take them! This is just the beginning for these Greenhands, and we can’t wait to watch them LEAD, GROW, and SERVE! 🌱✨

There’s nothing quite like your first year in FFA! Our Chapter Greenhand Camp was all about welcoming our newest members into New Braunfels FFA, building connections, learning about the opportunities ahead, and showing them what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. Our FFA officers may have got a little messy along the way.

And of course, we couldn’t end Greenhand Camp without one of our favorite New Braunfels FFA traditions… stamping our Green….. hands! 💚🙌

Each stamp represents the beginning of their FFA journey — new experiences, new friendships, new challenges, and plenty of memories still to come. To our newest members, we can’t wait to see where the blue jacket takes you. 💙💛

Our New Braunfels FFA Chapter Officers had an awesome time attending the River District Leadership Lab! This year’s superhero theme was the perfect reminder that leadership isn’t about having superpowers—it’s about stepping up, serving others, and using your strengths to make a difference. 💙💛

A huge thank you to our River District Officers for planning and leading such a fun and meaningful day of leadership, teamwork, and connection! We’re especially proud to have one of our very own, Gertie Dudley, serving as a River District Officer and helping lead fellow FFA members from across the district! 🌟

Our officers came home energized, inspired, and ready to put what they learned into action as they continue leading New Braunfels FFA this year. The future of agriculture needs strong leaders—and we’re proud to be growing them right here in New Braunfels FFA!

HAPPY NATIONAL TEACH AG DAY!

Today we’re celebrating the incredible Ag Teachers who make New Braunfels FFA possible!

Being an Ag Teacher is so much more than teaching in a classroom. It’s early mornings, late nights, stock shows, contests, practices, SAE projects, floral arrangements, shop projects, leadership development, and countless hours spent helping students discover what they’re capable of.

We are so thankful for our New Braunfels Ag Science Teachers and the time, energy, knowledge, and heart they pour into our students and FFA chapter every single day. 💙

Their impact goes far beyond agriculture—they are preparing students to be leaders, problem-solvers, hard workers, and advocates for the future of agriculture.

💙💛 Meet Your New Braunfels FFA Officer Team! 💛💙

We are excited to officially introduce the students who will be representing and leading New Braunfels FFA this year! 🌟

These students have already been hard at work planning activities, welcoming new members, and finding ways to make this a great year for our chapter. We are so excited to watch them grow as leaders and see everything they accomplish together!
