Our Special Precinct 111 event with Rep. Carrie Isaac was great! We had a wonderful turnout from across the precinct last night. Carrie shared with us so much information on several topics. The group had an excellent discussion with Carrie. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed!!

Today we are thankful to our founding father for the US Constitution. Join us in celebration of the US 239th Constitution Anniversary! On September 17, 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, PA, signed the U.S. Constitution, beginning a process of state-by-state ratification that lasted until 1790. Tonight, a very special project honoring the lives, heroes, and legacy of September 11 will air on NewsNation.

We are especially proud of Moms for Liberty Board of Directors Chair Deborah Flora, who produced the special alongside her husband, Jonathan Flora, who directed the film.

They were joined by Executive Producer Katie Gorka, a member of the Moms for Liberty Advisory Committee, along with her husband Sebastian Gorka, and Producer Brady Nasfell.

25 years later, their mission is simple: make sure we never forget — and remind America of the unity that followed. 🇺🇸

Comal County is under a Heat Advisory now through 7 p.m. Saturday, September 12, and this stretch of hot weather isn't easing up anytime soon.
Expect highs up to 105°F, with heat index values climbing between 100°F and 110°F across our area through mid September.
High temperatures combined with humidity can lead to heat illness fast.
A few reminders to stay safe:

Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty yet.
Take breaks in the shade or somewhere air conditioned, especially if you're working or playing outside.
Avoid the hottest part of the day when possible, typically between noon and 6 p.m.
Wear light, loose fitting clothing and don't forget the sunscreen.
Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.
Check on elderly neighbors, family, and anyone without reliable air conditioning.
Make sure outdoor pets have plenty of shade and fresh water.
This heat is no joke, so take it seriously, look after each other, and stay cool out there, Comal County.
