The Family Life Center Our mission is to provide hope to individuals and families in seemingly hopeless situations.

Our mission statement at the Family Life Center is to provide hope to individuals and families in seemingly hopeless situations by coming alongside them with encouragement, education, and empowerment. The Family Life Center is a type of clearing house that receives applications from under-resourced residents, interviews those residents and determines that there is a legitimate need in their applic

ation. Upon determination of a legitimate need, we will attempt to meet the need of that resident with the resources of the Family Life Center. If that need cannot be met by our resources, then that resident may be referred to a partnering agency or organization.

Please Note: We have a couple of important dates to be aware of for our June calendar:

1.) Our next monthly food distribution is on Thursday, 6/18. If you haven't signed up yet to receive a food box or would like to volunteer, please contact our office directly (do not send a message through social media)

2.) We will be closed the week of 6/22 through 6/26 in order to move into our new office space (more info TBA)

Every month, we collaborate with the following community partners: Tree of Life Church (), New Braunfels Food Bank ( ) and San Antonio Food Bank ( / ) to provide a box of healthy, nutritious food to those in need in the community. The June monthly food distribution will be take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Please see the flyer for further details. If you and your family are in need of groceries, please contact us in order to be registered to receive a box of food. Volunteers are also needed!! Happy World Environment Day! Today is a great day to start your own platform to help make the planet a better, greener place for those currently here and for future generations. Here are 6 tips to help you on your journey to be a good steward of the of the Earth:
1) Conserve water resources by taking shorter showers and not leaving taps running while doing things like brushing your teeth or washing dishes;
2) Reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible;
3) Carpool to and from places, such as work, whenever possible in order to conserve fuel resources;
4) Release your inner urban gardener and start container gardening with easy-to-grow crops like tomatoes and peppers or perhaps consider starting a community garden in your neighborhood;
5) Try your hand at comoposting in order to reduce what goes into landfills plus you reap the benefits of nutrient-rich soil for your home garden;
6) Eat sustainably and choose fruits, vegetables and meats that are organic and locally-sourced whenever possible.

Be sure to come join us and other area outreach partners as we join with City Of New Braunfels - Government and New Braunfels Police Department for the annual Kops & Kids event this Thursday, June 4th from 4:00 - 7:00pm at Landa Park. This free family-friendly event will feature lots of fun for all, including: games, jump castles, a watermelon-eating contest, snacks plus a chance to register to win a bicycle or scooter! Come on out and bring the family! (Please note that we will be closing the office early at noon that day so that we can set up our booth fo the event). Hope to see you there!
