Great photos from LMN member Darlene Varga. When asked where she captured these, Darlene writes: "They literally were all at my house ....mostly in or near my water feature. The key is moving water. Mine is built in the ground and pretty large with two ends with cascading water. But the motor died and it took a couple of weeks to get it replaced and I just used a water wiggler in my small dish-like water feature and still attracted some birds. I am up to 106 different species of birds from off my deck. I am only counting birds seen from the deck for that # and if I add birds from the cove behind my house its probably closer to 150. I, also, do Project Feeder Watch and get lots of my pics and observations while I am doing that." Many thanks to Darlene for the photos and the advice! We're getting a water feature!
