We had a wonderful time celebrating the volunteers who make Texas Brigades possible!🎉

This past Saturday, we hosted our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch to recognize and celebrate the incredible hard work, dedication, and passion our volunteers bring to our programs.

Each of our camps nominated a volunteer for our Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of their commitment to going above and beyond for their camp and Texas Brigades as a whole. We are so grateful for each of these outstanding individuals and all they do to make our mission possible!

Meet our Outstanding Volunteer of the Year nominees!🌟

Our volunteers deserve an afternoon of celebration!

Join us October 10th in New Braunfels for a casual, family-friendly lunch as we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make Texas Brigades possible.

Our volunteers pour countless hours into our camps and into the lives of our Cadets, and we want to fill the space with the people they’ve impacted most.

Whether you’re a current or past volunteer, graduate, family member, or friend of the organization, come spend the afternoon with us, reconnect with the Brigades community, and help us celebrate the people who give so much to Texas Brigades.

Please RSVP by September 24 through the events page on our website so we can plan accordingly!

Check out their public speaking skills in action! 👏🏼

Yesterday, we were beyond proud to watch several of our graduates showcase the skills they developed at camp during the TPWD Commission’s Annual Public Hearing in Austin, TX! Each graduate had a chance to share their unique experience with Texas Brigades and express gratitude for the Department’s support of our organization.

A huge congratulations to Julia Pearson, Gus Lockwood, Abigail Clayton, and Elizabeth Yates for their outstanding presentations!

Their testimonies begin around the 5:47:00 mark in the Commission Meeting recording. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/live/QTP9P0hFj_8?si=QSN69xnBYwlMXmMc
