Kids Feeding Kids Through local donors & youth ag programs KFK provides resources for agencies & children's shelters.

The concept of Kids Feeding Kids was created in 2014 when four local shelters received a
donation of meat from 4H and FFA student projects. These projects were shown, then sold
at the Comal County Junior Livestock Show through a buying group called We’reAll In. A group of volunteers recognized the opportunity to address the ongoing need in the
community, coupled with supporting ag youth, and carri

ed the concept forward. On June 24, 2021, Kids Feeding Kids officially became a 501(c)(3) allowing us to provide
even more resources for those who need it most. Mission Statement: Through local donors and youth agricultural programs, Kids Feeding Kids provides resources for agencies who house and care for our community's most vulnerable. President: Jeff Dees

What a week for Kids Feeding Kids ❤️

Because of this amazing community, we were able to deliver 6,000 pounds of meat to FIVE local shelters — helping feed families right here at home.

Earlier this month, we supported 156 student projects at the Comal County Junior Livestock Show. These kids work so hard, and it’s pretty special to see their efforts come full circle to help others in our community.

A big thank you to Granzin's Meat Market and Koepp Quality Processing for helping make this happen — we truly couldn’t do it without you. 🫶

This week’s deliveries went to:
• SJRC Texas & Belong
• Connections Individual and Family Services
• Crisis Center of Comal County
• New Life Children’s Center
• New Braunfels Christian Ministries

This is what it’s all about — neighbors helping neighbors.

🐓Today Kids Feeding Kids distributed 156 chickens, all donated by generous 4-H and FFA students in Comal Co 🥰 A special thank you to Gerard MacCrossan for coordinating the collection, processing, and delivery back to the fairgrounds. Your efforts helped make this possible! Our partners at Connections Individual and Family Services, SJRC Texas & Belong, Crisis Center of Comal County & New Life Christian Center will be eating well this weekend! 🍗🍽️
