4th Recon Veterans

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was attacked and 2,977 innocent lives were taken.

We remember them. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives changed forever, and the generation of Americans who answered the call that followed.

For more than two decades, Marines stood watch and went into harm’s way across the globe—many deploying again and again. Some never came home. Others returned carrying wounds, visible and unseen.

Today, we honor all of them—the fallen, the Gold Star families, and every Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Airman, and American who served during the Global War on Terror.

We will never forget September 11, 2001—or those who carried the fight in the years that followed.

We are less than 3 weeks out from our first Fundraiser. Many people have hit me up to help on Saturday setup and during the event. If interested please message me. We will be setting up a call later this week or early next week with all the volunteers to assign places and get volunteer shirt sizes to be made.

We have added a few more raffle prizes and will be adding some gift baskets for the ladies!!! Or gents...

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from 4th Recon Veterans 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the freedoms so many have fought to protect — freedoms bought with sacrifice, carried forward by generations of warriors who answered the call.

To every Recon Marine, every family who held down the home front, and every veteran who carries the weight of that service: thank you. Your commitment didn't end when the uniform came off, and neither does ours to you.

Enjoy this day with the ones you love, and take a moment to remember those who made it possible. Celer, Silens, Mortalis.

Honoring the Devil Docs — 128th Birthday of the United States Navy Hospital Corps

June 17, 1898. The Hospital Corps was born — and with it, one of the most sacred bonds in the American military: the Corpsman and the Marine.

From the jungles of the Pacific to the streets of Fallujah and the mountains of Afghanistan, Navy Corpsman have run into the same fire as their Marines — weapon up, ready to fight, and ready to save lives. They carry a rifle and a Unit 1 bag, and they've proven time and again that they'll use both.

The 4th Reconnaissance Battalion knows this bond intimately. Our Corpsman didn't just treat wounds — they were part of the team. They patrolled with us, they brought the fight to the enemy alongside us, bled with us, and never flinched when it counted most. Every Recon Marine who made it home owes something to a "Doc.

On this 128th birthday of the Navy Hospital Corps, the 4th Recon Veterans community honors every Corpsman who served alongside us — those who are still with us, and those we've lost.
To our Devil Docs: Thank you. You are, and always will be, Marines in our hearts.
