💔🐾 PUPPY UPDATE — PLEASE KEEP OUR BABIES IN YOUR PRAYERS 🐾💔

I wanted to give everyone an update on our 12 little puppies and show you how everyone is doing today.

Sadly, we lost one of our babies. 💔 We have named him Basil. We fought for him, the veterinary team fought for him, and this little boy was loved. Sometimes, no matter how hard everyone fights, their tiny bodies just can’t fight anymore.

🌿🐾 Run free, sweet Basil. You mattered, you were loved, and you will not be forgotten.

His sister Sage is still hospitalized and fighting for her life. 🙏💚 She is hanging on, and we are praying with everything we have that she keeps fighting.

We still don't fully know what is going on with these babies. We are continuing to work with the veterinary team, watch everyone extremely closely, and do everything we can to keep the rest of the puppies eating, drinking, comfortable, and strong.

The rest of the babies are here with me. I brought them outside for a little bit so everyone could see them, but it's getting warm, so they're heading back inside where they can stay cool and comfortable. ❤️

Right now, we desperately need help. Between Sage's hospitalization, testing, medications, treatment, food, cleaning and disinfecting, and caring for this entire litter, everything adds up very quickly.

We are also going through supplies FAST right now. If you would rather send something directly for the puppies, we especially need disinfectant and cleaning supplies, paper towels, trash bags,xlarge p*epads, puppy food, wet puppy food, Nutri-Cal, probiotics, hydration/support supplies, and other puppy-care essentials.

The babies have also been showing more interest in a Nulo salmon wet puppy food, so I'll include a picture of the one they're liking. We can also use Royal Canin puppy food and wet puppy food. Right now, finding foods they are interested in eating is especially important to us while we care for them.

🚨🐾 URGENT — PLEASE HELP OUR 12 PUPPIES 🐾🚨

This is one of those posts I truly wish I didn’t have to make. 💔

We have 12 Chihuahua puppies who are sick, and right now we are very concerned that we may be dealing with Parvo. They are going to the veterinarian today around 230 PM to be tested so we can know exactly what we are fighting and immediately start the treatment they need.

💔 Two of the puppies are not doing good at all. We honestly don’t know right now if they are going to make it. We will most likely be hospitalizing those two to give them every possible fighting chance.

Please, please keep these babies in your prayers. 🙏❤️ We are praying hard that with veterinary care, medication, fluids, and lots of love, their little bodies can fight.

If the puppies test positive for Parvo, we plan to get Parvo serum for all 12 puppies and begin whatever supportive treatment our veterinarian recommends. The other puppies are still hanging in there, and our goal is to keep them hydrated, eating, strong, and hopefully prevent them from becoming as sick as these two babies.

Right now, donations directly to the veterinarian are what would help us the MOST.
Every donation called in will go directly toward their testing, treatment, medications, serum, fluids, hospitalization, and whatever else the veterinarian determines they need.

🌙🐾 Just a good evening here at Crazy Love Pet Rescue. ❤️

Everybody is outside enjoying the late evening before bedtime, and we finally have a nice little breeze coming through. Maybe some rain is headed our way too! 🌧️🤞

Look at some of these sweet faces! We have more currently in foster homes with our wonderful foster not in the video.🥹🐶
We have quite a few pups who are ready and waiting for their forever homes, while others are getting ready for their first vaccines, deworming, preventions, and upcoming spay/neuter appointments.

Esme has been out playing with Pongo and Lady, the little puppies are spending time with their mamas in their separate areas, and everybody seems to be enjoying the evening. ❤️

And we had some happy news today too! 🎉
Screech headed into a temporary foster home, and sweet Gabby is currently on her foster-to-adopt trial. Things are looking pretty promising for her, but we’ll let time tell. 🤞🐾❤️

It was just one of those days that makes all the work, laundry, puppy p**p, barking, cleaning, and craziness worth it. 😂❤️

We could definitely use a little help keeping everything going, though. We are opening our last bag of dog food tomorrow morning, and coming up soon we have vaccines for 12 little puppies plus 3 older puppies, along with preventions and spay/neuter appointments for a few of the pups.
