Our special guest at Anglers’ Night Out

Meet Matthew Garza, owner:
Never stop chasing your dreams.
From the time I was a young child, I found my passion in the outdoors. The woods, the water, and the wild places have shaped who I am, taught me life’s greatest lessons, and continue to inspire every step I take. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to turn that passion into a way of life, and now, as I begin this next chapter, I invite my family, friends, and fellow outdoorsmen to come along for the journey. Here’s to the road ahead filled with love, laughter, trophy trout, and unforgettable whitetails.

Our goal:
Welcome to The Reel & Rifle Retreat, Baffin Bay’s newest destination for world class fishing, exceptional hunting, and genuine Texas hospitality. Nestled along the legendary waters of South Texas, our retreat was created for those who seek adventure by day and comfort by night.

Whether you’re chasing trophy speckled trout across the pristine flats of Baffin Bay or pursuing South Texas Nilgai through the brush country, every experience here is rooted in a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Our lodge offers luxurious accommodations, outstanding cuisine, knowledgeable guides, and a welcoming atmosphere where lifelong memories are made.

From sunrise hunts to sunset casts, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the traditions, excitement, and camaraderie that make the outdoor lifestyle so rewarding. At The Reel & Rifle Retreat, you’re more than a guest you become part of our family, sharing in a passion for wild places, unforgettable adventures, and the stories that bring us back season after season.

Welcome to your next adventure. Welcome to The Reel & Rifle Retreat.
