New Braunfels 0.5K Beer Run The 11th annual Beer Run, hosted by the Jaycees, challenges participants to race around Wurstfest grounds while balancing a pint of beer.

Finish without spilling too much or you’ll be disqualified! All proceeds will benefit local non-profit organizations.

A huge round of applause for our Kids Competitive Root Beer 0.5K runners! These kiddos showed up ready to run, have fun, and earn their bragging rights! 👏🎉

Our first heat has completed their race! Each runner gets 2 pints of beer, a T-shirt, and a limited edition 2026 Silipint!

The 0.5K Beer Run will be taking place TODAY at until 2pm! Entry onto Wurstfest grounds is FREE. We have raffles, vendors, kids zone, face painters, food, snacks, drinks, and of course ice cold beer!

Entry onto Wurstfest grounds is FREE, so you can shop at our food trucks, lemonade trailer, popsicle stand, ice cream and popcorn vendors, as well as many other vendors without an entry fee!
