New cohort, new friendships, and a whole lot of trust!

Lone Star FAME Cohort 4 took team building to new heights at John Newcombe Country Club’s Outback Adventures!

Our students challenged themselves on the ropes course, encouraged their teammates, and started building the connections that will carry them through their FAME journey.

Safety is a key part of what TX FAME Lone Star students learn from day one. 🛠️

We’re proud to see Cohort 4 students make this personal commitment to safety as they prepare for careers in advanced manufacturing. Their time in the program is about more than technical skills—it’s about developing the habits, knowledge and mindset needed to succeed in today’s manufacturing workforce.

Thank you to TSTC New Braunfels and our industry partners for helping prepare these students for what’s ahead!

Our newest FAME Lone Star students officially kicked off their journey at Signing Day on August 31, surrounded by their sponsoring employers, families, educators, and community partners.

The day was a great opportunity to celebrate the commitment these students are making to their education and future careers — and the investment our employer partners are making in developing the next generation of skilled talent.

We’re excited to see this group learn, grow, and build their skills throughout the FAME program. Congratulations, Cohort 4! We’re glad to have you on board!

Our Cohort 4 students are lined up and ready to take the next step in their journey with TX FAME Lone Star!

Today, these students will officially sign with the TX FAME Lone Star program, Texas State Technical College (TSTC), and their sponsoring employers — beginning a unique earn-while-you-learn pathway that combines technical education with valuable, hands-on industry experience.

We’re proud to welcome students representing five outstanding sponsoring companies:

🔹 CMC Steel Texas
🔹 Caterpillar
🔹 AUMOVIO
🔹 Tyson Foods
🔹 H-E-B Distribution Center

This program wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our TX FAME Lone Star chapter supporting companies:

🔹 Cavco Industries
🔹 Alamo Group
🔹 Republic Plastics
🔹 Lhoist
🔹 Texas Tito’s
🔹 Seguin Machining & Supply
🔹 Detex Corporation

Together, our sponsoring and supporting companies are investing in the next generation of skilled manufacturing professionals and helping create pathways to rewarding careers right here in our community.

We’re excited to watch this group learn, grow, and build the skills they need for successful careers in advanced manufacturing.

Welcome to TX FAME Lone Star, Cohort 4! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish!

Our cohort 3 students wrapped up their summer semester this morning with their end-of-semester presentations focused on Lean Manufacturing!

Throughout the semester, students have been building their technical skills and gaining hands-on experience while learning how Lean principles can improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen manufacturing processes.

It was great to see them put that knowledge into practice and share what they’ve learned. We’re proud of the work this group has put in and excited to see where their TX FAME Lone Star journey takes them!

We recently had the privilege of celebrating 14 outstanding students as they graduated from our second Texas FAME Lone Star Chapter cohort.

This milestone represents countless hours of hard work, hands-on learning, and professional growth. Through the Texas FAME program, these graduates have gained valuable technical skills, real-world experience, and the foundation for successful careers in advanced manufacturing.

We are proud of each graduate and grateful to the employer partners, instructors, mentors, and supporters who helped make this achievement possible. Your commitment to developing the next generation of skilled talent is making a lasting impact.

Congratulations to Cohort 2! We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead.
