What a great week we had at the 98th Annual Texas FFA Convention!

Monday, we made our way to Fort Worth, got checked in, and enjoyed Mexican food at Rosas.

Tuesday, Alex and Jacob walked the stage to receive their Lone Star FFA Degree. Everyone attended a workshop about leadership. We then had a blast at the Texas FFA Rodeo Finals down in the Stockyards.

Wednesday, the students were up and moving early to attend the business session, first general session, and a workshop on success in hardship. We made a fun trip to top golf and knocked it out of the park.

Thursday, we found ourselves back at general sessions and workshops on communication. We ended Thursday night at Texas FFA Fun Night after a fabulous family dinner at Boo-Rays (a fan favorite for our group).

Friday, we got up and made our way back home to New Boston!

In the in between you could find us in the Expo Hall talking with colleges, jamming out and yapping in the suburbans, and enjoying our bonding time.

Our New Boston FFA students are gearing up to head out for the State Convention! They will be at ACE Hardware on McCoy Bulavard in New Boston Texas having a bake sale! There will be something for everyone! Everyone come on out and support the students.

Congratulations to Mr. David Parker on receiving your Honorary Lone Star FFA Degree.

Mr. Parker goes above and beyond to serve our students and our community. He currently serves as the New Boston FFA Alumni President. Additionally, Mr. Parker runs 7LP Cattle Company where he breeds and raises Brahman cattle on his family farm.

Thank your Mr. Parker for all you do!

Mr. Parker will be awarded his degree at the Texas FFA State Convention in July.
