Rachel and I have been working with missionaries on the ground in Pakistan to reach people in Faisalabad for some time. Acts 1:8 reminds us that the mission of the Gospel was never meant to stop at our own post. Jesus said we would be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
As commissioned US Missionaries, our first calling is to be faithful where God has planted us, but we also recognize that His mission reaches far beyond the familiar.
Long before we accepted our post in US Missions we were boots on the ground in Zimbabwe, Haiti, Ethiopia, South Africa, Ukraine, Nepal, the Philippines and to Pakistan. Even while I was in the military I never passed up a chance to minister in Iraq and Kuwait or any other country our government sent us to. In Pakistan, we are trusting the Holy Spirit to open doors, prepare hearts, and use this work for His glory. This is not about building Runner's Refuge name or our name. It is about carrying the name of Jesus to places where hope is desperately needed.
Would you pray with us as we follow the leading of the Spirit and believe God for lasting Kingdom fruit in Pakistan? Our Friends John, Anmol, and their new baby Ezekial are doing an amazing work in Pakistan, God's Work!, and we are trying to support them and supply for them the best we can. Today we need to send them Bibles in their language , URDU, so they can effectively minister to the least, the last, and the lost in the third largest city in Pakistan.

Today is East Texas Giving Day- Bowie County Runner's Refuge Ministries, and Runners Refuge Discipleship Academy are making a huge difference in the lives of those struggling with life-controlling issues in Bowie County and surrounding areas. Our Recovery Program at Peachtree Ranch in New Boston is seeing lives changed every day. Our street evangelism in surrounding communities and Thursday Night outreaches in Texarkana are seeing men and women desiring to be freed from addiction and bo***ge.
