FORWARDING:
LEGISLATIVE ALERT - Your Last Chance to address Racial Discrimination in Our MICHIGAN Schools
Please call or email your State Senator now so HB 5097 can be voted on next week December 6th
Michigan's K-12 curriculum has been evolving over many years to include academic and cultural material that is racist and harmful.
Based on growing statewide and national concerns about the impact of this imbedded racial bias, our legislature has introduced a couple of bills to address the problem, and we have ONE MORE chance to vote. We need YOUR Help.
The Michigan State House put bill #5097 on the floor and the Democratics WERE TOO AFRAID to either vote yes or no! They refused to vote on this bill!
This bill pertains to banning institutional racism and sexism, such as the various forms of Critical Race Theory, from the educational system. It appears the Democrats are scared to go on the record showing that they DO support racist, anti-American indoctrination in schools!
This has never happened in Michigan legislative history--that an entire caucus sat on their hands and refused to vote.
The anti-racism bill passed the House with only Republicans supporting the measure. Next, it came to the Senate Education Committee, where again, the Democrats fled the committee room, with their hair on fire, rather than having to vote yes or no. The Republican committee members passed it out of the committee.
So now this great bill, that would put all Democrats, and may be a few weak Republicans, on record for voting either to prevent or support indoctrinating our kids with horrific racism and gender hatred is STALLED on the floor of the Senate because of the Republican Caucus Majority Leader [email protected].
All Michigan patriots needs to contact the majority leader's Mike Shirkey's office ([email protected]) and demand this bill be placed on the floor so the people in Michigan can see where both the Democrats and Republicans land in terms of our education systems teaching future generations to hate each other by race or gender.
This bill would provide that the core academic curriculum developed by any school district could not, in any way, include anything that could be understood as implicit race or gender stereotyping.
If this bill became law, this is what teachers COULD NOT TEACH:
* That all individuals composing a racial or ethnic group or gender hold a collective quality or belief.
* That individuals act in certain ways or hold certain opinions because of their race or gender.
* That individuals are born racist or sexist by accident of their race or gender.
* That individuals bear collective guilt for historical wrongs committed by their race or gender.
* That race or gender is a better predictor of outcome than character, work ethic, or skills.
* That cultural norms or practices of a racial or ethnic group or gender are flawed and must be eliminated or changed to conform with those of another racial or ethnic group or gender.
* That racism is inherent in individuals from a particular race or ethnic group or that sexism is inherent in individuals from a particular gender.
* That a racial or ethnic group or gender is in need of deconstruction, elimination, or criticism.
* That the actions of individuals serve as an indictment against the race or gender of those individuals
Now The Democrats, unions and bureaucrats understand perfectly well that it is absolutely permissible in the bill for the educators to talk candidly about historical wrongs such as slavery, or the Holocaust or anything other event that has components of racial or gender hatred.
But the issue is many of the Democrat legislators want to advance the dangerous and anti-egalitarian notions that this bill prevents that have led to the mass murder of millions of citizens across the generations.
So far Michigan's Re
publican majority leader Mike Shirkey ([email protected]) has prevented this bill, that paints the stark contrast between Michigan constitutional patriot legislators, and those who support the dystopian hate-filled future the Democrats want.
Call and demand majority leader Shirkey (517) 373-5932 place this bill up for a vote on December 6th and, also contact your state senator to advocate that, in the FINAL DAYS we have left of this legislature, AND before the Democrats seize total control, that we pass this vital piece of legislation to demonstrate that we stand against this insane and divisive agenda
