The Newcomers Club of New Bern welcomes individuals who have moved to the New Bern area in the past two years and are interested in finding a unique and fun way to make new friends and transition into this amazing and active community. Through monthly meetings and over 20 activity groups, the club provides an easy and fun way to make new friends and learn about this great community we call home. T

he club meets at 7 p.m., at the Harrison Center, 311 Middle Street, in New Bern, on the second Thursday of the month except in July, August and December. Click here for our full events calendar.The club's objective is to help newcomers transition into their new community. As a Club member, you will have opportunities to meet other newcomers and to learn about local resources and history. You must be a paid member of the club to take part in club activities, though if your are interested in joining the club, you do not have to be a paid member to check out a monthly meeting.
