began after recognizing the need for establishing a motorcycle association that would provide its members with a strong sense of purpose. Where the passion of motorcycling merged with the passion for service to country and community would transcend onto the roadways to give back to those who gave some and some who gave all. Where not only is the passion of motorcycling common among us, but so is i
ntegrity, duty and remembrance of those who have answered the ultimate call to duty. Based on this need, the founding members combined their common backgrounds of military, law enforcement and public safety and established VEMA. VEMA shall always focus on the quality and purpose of membership and not on the quantity of members. Veteran Enforcers are civic servants that are held to a higher standard than the general public. We are not 1%ers and have no affiliation to any 1%er clubs. To the contrary, we are law enforcers and do not allow anybody to hide behind our colors and hold all V.E.M.A. Our membership is not open to the general public. However, we do support like-minded motorcycling organizations that are in line with the V.E.M.A. mission with no bias or obligation. As with any dynamic organization, a set of standards is one of the assets that make it dynamic. V.E.M.A is no different. Our past experiences led to the creation of our by-laws. An evolving document intended to give our members Mission, Task and Purpose. Members are expected to know and comply with our by-laws, but are reminded that our focus shall always remain on our mission, our passion for motorcycling and service to our brothers and sisters. The major ingredient in all we do is our membership. This shall always be the case and we shall never compromise the quality of our membership for quantity. Pacheco III,
