A little more information about Teen Court Programs: "Global Youth Justice, Inc. champions and Peer-to-Peer Diversion Programs called .

An American Innovation, these and Programs have been scaling locally for a staggering 30+ Years despite never directly funded by U.S. Federal Government.

USA State and Local efforts by amazing Adults and Youth working and volunteering together have now resulted in over 2,000+ Communities and Schools with these Peer Diversion Programs in 50 States, DC, 25+ Tribes -- and this American Inclusive Democracy Innovation has spread to 11 other Countries with the Netherlands (25+ programs) and Germany (40+ programs) leading the Implementation of this American Innovation.

In America, they are now 10x's more replicated than any diversion program for youth typically 10-18 who commit minor and non- violent crimes, offenses, and violations -- and given their volunteer-driven design, they are now among the Top 5 Volunteer Programs for Teens, and easily #1 for Youth Volunteering for Justice and Democracy.

Because juvenile crime and school offenses occur largely year round, they avoid being episodic volunteer service, like the vast majority of most other volunteer opportunities -- instead, many youth, including those who were previously given peer sanctions for crimes and offenses (typically 1-50 hours of service, jury duty and educational classes) are involved for 1-4 years as volunteers, thus resulting in more pro-social and positive behaviors and attitudes.
