A great morning of fellowship as six brothers from Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM gathered to help a wonderful organization prepare their new home.

We moved furniture into the house, cleaned out flower beds, trimmed bushes, weed-wacked and edged the lawn, sidewalks and driveway.

It sure was hot but we were fortunate enough to have three other brothers deliver water to us to keep us all hydrated.

We’re grateful to Riposo Home for the opportunity to help!

What a great evening at Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM!

After enjoying an amazing meal of street tacos and fellowship, we had the privilege of initiating two worthy men into the Entered Apprentice degree. The evening was exceptionally well attended, with more than 30 Brothers present, to support our candidates and our Lodge.

We are grateful to every Brother who came out and helped make the night special. The degree work was performed with excellence, and we are especially proud of our officer line for their dedication and outstanding work. Our Junior Warden conferred his first ever degree with precision and confidence.

Afterwards we enjoyed more fellowship at the usual place and time.

Congratulations to our newest Entered Apprentices! We look forward to watching your Masonic journey unfold!

All EA, FC and MM’s are invited. Our Junior Warden will occupy the East. Come out and support these fine men as they take their first step in masonry.

On Wednesday evening Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM enjoyed a productive and inspiring Stated Communication. We were honored to welcome our guests WB Matthew Robbins, Assistant Grand Secretary, and WB Rick Williams, Junior Warden of State College Lodge No. 770.

The evening began with a wonderful meal featuring homemade pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw, enjoyed by all.

WB Matt then delivered an outstanding educational presentation on “The Collapse of Beauvais Cathedral” and its relevance to modern Speculative Masonry. His thoughtful insights provided valuable lessons and sparked meaningful discussion. He also educated us on the historic nature of our lodge frescoes. Thank you, WB Matt, for an excellent program!

We are excited about the many opportunities ahead, including upcoming events and ongoing initiatives to enhance our building and strengthen our Lodge and Masonry in Eastern N.C.. As summer approaches, we wish all our Brothers a safe, enjoyable, and peaceful season.

We also look forward to visiting more lodges, renewing friendships, and continuing to enjoy the bonds of Masonic fellowship and brotherhood throughout the summer months.

Brethren. As is the custom at Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM, after Memorial Day we go to summer dress. Lodge Polo and khakis for all regular Stated Communications. Degrees still require a suit and tie. I look forward to seeing you in lodge tonight.

Saint John's Lodge No. 3 AF&AM was proud to participate in the Memorial Day service at the New Bern National Cemetery. It’s a tradition we’ve maintained for years. We display our wreath in remembrance of those who gave all to preserve our freedoms. We honor their memory always.
