🇺🇸 WELCOME TO VFW DISTRICT 4! 🇺🇸

Exciting news for our District! Please join us in welcoming a brand-new VFW Post in Richlands, North Carolina!

We’re excited to see the VFW family growing in our area and look forward to welcoming the Richlands Post and its members into VFW District 4. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand the VFW’s presence, reach more veterans and families, and strengthen veteran advocacy and service throughout Eastern North Carolina.

The evening will include information about VFW programs for veterans, their families, and our communities, as well as the opportunity for eligible veterans to sign up as charter members of the new Richlands VFW Post.

Interested in becoming a Charter Member? Eligibility is open to veterans who served honorably overseas in a qualifying campaign, in Korea after June 30, 1949, or in a hostile-fire or imminent-danger pay area. Bring your DD-214 or other proof of eligibility.

October 18 is Recognition of Women in Military Service Day—a time to honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of the women who have worn our nation’s uniform. ❤️🤍💙

Today, we recognize the women who served in every branch of our Armed Forces and celebrate the contributions they continue to make in our communities and among our veteran family.

At VFW Post 2514, we’re proud of our women veterans! Their service, their stories, and their sacrifices are an important part of our shared history.

Did you know? The VFW is for veterans who served in a combat zone. If you served in a qualifying combat zone and meet the VFW’s eligibility requirements, you may qualify for membership—regardless of your branch of service or gender.
