Today we dropped off another donation to UNC Health Lenoir’s L&D unit for their bereavement program 🩵🩷 Thanks to the incredible support we have received we were able to donated a new camera, additional lens, a bassinet that their cuddle cot will fit in, a printer & supplies to print these pictures for bereaved families, usb drives, supplies for saline immersion photos, outfits for babies smaller than micropremie to full term, swaddles, and hats/headbands. We know all too well how important it is to make memories and take pictures during the brief moments you have with your baby instead of the lifetime you planned on and are honored to be able to bring these supplies to other families that will unfortunately need to use them. 👢🌸

We dropped off a donation to ECU Health Beaufort this morning! This is a new hospital for us and we are so excited to be able to help their L&D unit help their bereaved families. Today donation drop off included a new camera with an addition lens, a printer and supplies to print pictures out for families, usb thumb drives, supplies for silver thumbprint charms, swaddles and hats for babies micropremie to full term, blankets with a matching lovey, little bears for surviving siblings, teddy bears to carry out, and casting kits for molds of baby’s hands and feet. These drop off are always so bittersweet as we hate that other families will need them but we are glad they will be available. 🩵🩷 We can’t thank everyone enough who has supported the Boots and Blooms Foundation; these donations wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s help and we truly appreciate it more than we can express.

We were able to drop off another donation to CarolinaEast’s Labor and Delivery unit this morning for their bereavement program 🩷🩵 it’s always so bittersweet dropping the items off knowing why they will be used but we are so thankful for all of the support we’ve received to make this possible. They now have an improved printer to give families physical pictures to leave the hospital with and a usb drive to have all digital images. They will also have the ability to take saline immersion pictures which helps take beautiful pictures of these sweet babies. We also were able to provide additional outfits for the smallest of babies. There was a pretty dress and a cute little outfit that would’ve fit Lilly and Andy perfectly 🩷🩵

We are so thankful for the students & teacher that volunteered at the Boots and Blooms 5k this year and ran the water stop for us and to have been the recipients of their pay it forward Friday and for their generous donation!!! We love our St Saint Paul Catholic School New Bern, NC family 🩵

Today we were honored to present a check for $300 to the Boots and Blooms Foundation! Our Knights came together to support a great local organization that helps families affected by the loss of a child. Together we can make a difference! 💙

We have TONS of stuff being delivered in preparation for some upcoming donation dropoffs and this beautiful outfit came in today. It’s so so tiny yet so beautiful and perfect 💗 I hate knowing the reason it will be used and how crushed that family will be, but I know how beautiful their daughter will look and hope this pretty outfit brings them some comfort.

Baby names from the 5k part 2!!! 💕 In total there were 85 babies names mentioned during the registration process. This is one of my favorite and the most humbling parts of running this event. We know each and every one of these babies has a story. We know they are loved and missed. We are truly honored to remember them and love them with you 🩷💙
