It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of one of our very own Truckers. Brother Alvis served his duties very proudly with Sudan Shrine for 43 years. He was also raised to Master Mason in 1979!
Brother Alvis started his Shrine career in the unit Pedal Pushers, then he got into the Roadrunners where he made more than 112 trips taking our patients to and from our hospital. While he was not on the road he enjoyed parades with his sons, brother Wayne, and Brother Greg with the Truckers.
Brother Alvis also was behind the scenes testing the can tabs that had been turned in to support our hospitals.
As our hearts are shattered with the great loss of our brother, we find peace knowing he is with his bride, Lady Harriet, and no longer in pain.
Please pray for the Collins family as they navigate life without this phenomenal man.
