Attendance Commitment: A Shared Partnership
Our afterschool program is provided at no cost to families through funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant. Because this funding is tied in part to student participation and attendance, every enrollment spot is a valuable, grant-funded opportunity.
Enrollment in our program represents a shared commitment between our staff and your family. We are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In return, we ask families to commit to making regular attendance a priority.
With many more applicants than available spaces, we want every seat to be used by a student who will fully participate in the academic support, enrichment activities, and leadership opportunities our program provides. When students are frequently absent or attend only occasionally, it limits opportunities for other eligible students who are waiting to participate.
While we understand that illnesses, family emergencies, and other unavoidable circumstances arise, students who do not maintain regular attendance may forfeit their placement, and that space may be offered to a student on our waiting list.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure this valuable, no-cost program remains available to as many children and families in our community as possible.
By accepting enrollment, families acknowledge their commitment to ensuring their child attends the program regularly and promptly notifying Lyfe Three if their child will no longer participate so the opportunity can be offered to another eligible student.
