Prospect Lions of New Berlin

A huge thank you to DG Lion Patt for joining the Prospect Lions on Tue evening to install our 2027 officers. In addition, she inducted a new member, congratulation Lion Peggy; recognized three members for their years of service; and awarded a Melvin Jones Fellowship, a Birch-Sturm Fellowship, two Knight of Site Fellowships and a Lions of the Year Award. A busy night and a great job, DG Patt.

Numerous people have asked if and when there would be a service for Lion Frenchi Trottier-Wasilewski. We found out late last evening that there will be a Visitation Sat, May 30th at 10:00am at Holy Apostles Church, 16000 W National Ave, New Berlin, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am.

It is with deep regret and sadness that we share the news of the passing of Prospect Lions' VPE Lion Elaine Kraus. Lion Elaine embodied Lionism to the fullest and was a part of nearly every event and activity the club held. She was especially proud of doing her first tissue transport for the LEBW in Jan. Her Lion spirt continued today as an organ/tissue donor. She will truly be missed in the club and in our hearts for a very long time.

It is with great sadness and a deep feeling of loss that we share the word of Lion Frenchi Trottier-Wasielewski's passing. She was a member of the Prospect Lions for five years and a member of the New Berlin Lionesses for 14 years prior to that. Frenchi attended nearly every club event and meeting. She served in several positions in the club and also served at the district level. She leaves a large hole in our club and in our hearts. Arrangements pending.

Thank You to DG Lion Patt who installed three new Prospect Lions, Lion Jerry, Lion Donna and Lion Matthew, at last evening's meeting.
She also awarded Lion Scott a service pin recognizing 20 years of service to the Prospect Lions and the New Berlin community.

A large THANK YOU to all those who attended Saturday's Wind & Beer Tasting-2025 fundraiser for the New Berlin Food Pantry. More than a hundred guests got to enjoy our new larger venue, and products from both our new wine and beer suppliers.

Tomorrow is the day to help the Prospect Lions raise funds for the New Berlin Food Pantry at the Wine & Beer Tasting-2025. All proceeds go to help people in our own communities. And we still have tickets available!!

Event will be held at the New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center, 15321 W National Ave, 6:00-9:00pm. to reserve tickets call Lion Ed at 262-679-2754.
