Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers to host State Bricklayer Apprenticeship Contest at Miron Construction’s Eau Claire Office
Lake Hallie, Wis. (June 13, 2026) On Saturday, June 13, the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers District Council of Wisconsin will welcome 32 apprentices to their 2026 Bricklayer State Apprenticeship Contest. The contest will be held at Miron Construction Co., Inc.’s Eau Claire office and yard operations.
During the four-hour contest, apprentices will be tested on their overall craftsmanship, trade-specific skills, and the quality of their final piece. Apprentices’ work will be judged by BAC journeymen and members of Local #19 in Eau Claire.
This contest is made possible by the sponsorships and donations of materials from Miron Construction, Lincoln Contractors Supply, and the District Council of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers of Wisconsin.
The contest begins at 8 a.m. and will run until approximately 12:30 p.m. The attendees will break for lunch, and awards will be presented at 2 p.m. Media is welcome to attend the contest and the awards presentation.

The Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers District Council represents craftworkers in the trowel trades across the state of Wisconsin.
