Tricia's Troops Cancer Connection

Where FAITH is planted...MIRACLES can bloom! Tricia’s Troops Cancer Connection began serving the community in May of 2011. Thank you for your support!

A year earlier, our co-founder and mother of two young children was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 35 and experienced the great needs associated with battling the disease. Surrounded by a loving system of support from family and friends, she made it her mission to ensure that nobody would have to go through cancer without the same level of support and care that she was fortunate

to receive. Today, the organization helps create and sustain a community of support for people living with and affected by cancer by providing financial assistance to families in need and providing service coordination to help cancer fighters and their families meet their daily living needs. Tricia Wright passed away on April 26, 2012 but her mission continues in the organization she founded.

As we wake up one week past our 15th anniversary gala, we are still basking in the love and support that surrounded us that evening. At our event we debuted a video that features our founder, Tricia Wright, as she described what her dreams were for the organization she created. If you don't know the story of Tricia's Troops or could use a reminder of what we're all about, we'd love for you to take the time to watch this special video that we'll always treasure thanks to Katie Pernat who put it together with love.

Rise and Shine -- It's Road Trip Time!! The VW is gassed up, the snacks are packed and the playlist is stacked with all of your sing along favorites, so let's get this show on the road and do something great today, TROOPS!

Even if you can't take this journey with us, be sure to check out the silent auction and raffle online until 7 p.m. We have the opportunity to be an answer to prayers today, so let's do this.

Exciting news, TROOPS! The silent auction for our Road Trip USA gala is NOW OPEN!!

No matter where you are you can bid on the amazing items that have been so generously donated by our community in support of our mission. The silent auction and raffle ticket sales will end Saturday, May 30th at 7:00 p.m., so let the fun begin!

Next week at this time we will be Road Tripping for Tricia's Troops Cancer Connection at Waukesha County Expo Center with more than 300 of our treasured supporters and we can't wait! Even though the event is sold out, there are some exciting ways to participate no matter where you are in support of our mission. Tonight we are taking our raffle tickets sales live on our event site and we have another special silent auction item to announce -- a one week stay at Anna Maria Island!

We'll be taking our full silent auction live later this week, but don't let that stop you from taking a peek and getting the bidding rolling!!

📢 AMAZING AUCTION ITEM ANNOUNCEMENT!

It's MasterChef night on FOX and we are thrilled to announce that the 2023 MasterChef winner has graciously donated an item to our Road Trip USA silent auction! Grant Gillon won the season 13 "MasterChef: United Tastes of America with Gordon Ramsay" and if you're the highest bidder, you and a guest will have the incredible opportunity to experience a meal prepared by him in his home state of Iowa!

If you are a cancer survivor or know someone who is, check out this free event happening on Saturday thanks to Ascension Wisconsin! We have a wonderful volunteer who will be sharing information about Tricia's Troops at a booth that day and we encourage all local survivors to participate in this special offering and learn more about other community resources available in our region.

Look what you did, TROOPS! We have finalized our impact report for 2025 and we are so proud to share that your support helped us touch the lives of more than 600 cancer fighters and survivors last year right here in southeast Wisconsin.

And for the first time in our history we surpassed $105,000 in financial assistance provided in one year for families simultaneously enduring both a health and financial crisis to help ease their daily living struggles during treatment.

Together we are making hope happen in so many special ways and we couldn't do it without you. THANK YOU!!
